Teacher evaluation outcomes
Skills and competences, Evidence of learning, Feedback, Action pans
At the conclusion of the training pathway, teachers were invited to participate in an evaluation survey aimed at assessing the effectiveness of the digital training programme and the competences they acquired in preparation for Hybrid Classroom implementation.
The evaluation results highlight a strong and positive impact in several core areas of digital and pedagogical development:
1. Increased Confidence in Digital Tools
A large majority of teachers reported having significantly improved their confidence in using digital platforms and technological devices. They feel more autonomous in managing video conferencing tools, virtual classrooms, and collaborative platforms essential to hybrid teaching.
2. Enhanced Instructional Design Capabilities
Participants indicated a marked improvement in their ability to design and structure learning experiences suitable for both in-person and remote students. Teachers learned how to develop blended learning modules, manage asynchronous content delivery, and integrate digital resources effectively into their lesson plans.
3. Improved Classroom Management Strategies in Hybrid Settings
Through the training and direct experimentation, teachers gained valuable insights into how to manage the dynamics of a hybrid class. They developed strategies for maintaining student engagement, ensuring inclusion, and facilitating interaction across physical and digital spaces.
4. Awareness of Continuous Professional Development
The training path also fostered a culture of lifelong learning and self-assessment, with teachers recognizing the importance of continuous digital competence development. Many expressed interest in further deepening their skills in areas such as multimedia content production, formative digital assessment, and emerging edtech tools.
Overall, the evaluation confirms that the HAVE training programme not only met its learning objectives but also contributed to a paradigm shift in how teachers perceive their role within a hybrid educational model—more flexible, student-centered, and digitally fluent.
