When students work in the hybrid classroom, it is important to help them with the necessary digital tools so that they get the most out of their education. In this example, it is a class that has Danish at A-level, which is divided between different physical classrooms.

For some of the students in the exemplified class, it has been significant that the teaching has had a recognizable element, as the students have had changing teachers in the group. Therefore, students can find an overview of all the courses in their classroom in Canvas. All courses are therefore also set up uniformly and provide the necessary familiarity for the students.

Within each course, students find a clear plan for the individual days, so they have an overview of what they go through in the different lessons. They will therefore always be able to find their way back to lessons they may have missed or need to refresh. At the same time, it makes communication easier for the teacher when the day’s teaching is to be initiated.

Students find the day’s program in the individual lesson with accompanying links to the day’s texts and videos, as well as questions for working with the texts.

In the day’s program, students will also be asked to actively participate in the associated classroom in TEAMS, where students collect shared notes for the teaching and can use the documents to work together across the physical classrooms. The TEAMS room makes it possible for the teacher to put the groups together across the rooms and at the same time follow the students’ responses.
